But maybe you’re nervous, or not as spry as you used to be?  Think you can’t, well, we know you can!  We specialize in beginning adult riders, returning riders, nervous riders and anyone who wants to improve their skills.    At FlyAway Stables we will help you reach your goals, not ours. 

You’ll not only learn what to do, but why and how and you’ll have fun doing it.  Various exercises, teaching/learning aids and occasionally games are used to enhance the student’s understanding, balance and abilities.  Classes may include:  ground work and movement awareness using Centered Riding Techniques, lunge line lessons for seat and aid awareness and development and cross country rides to expand your skills.

Register today for our regular riding program or consider joining MR ED (Mature Rider Education and Development program).  MR ED is a 10 week program for new riders that emphasizes strong riding fundamentals and basic horsemanship skills to get you off “on the right hoof.”

A lesson program is only as good as the instructor.  I have over 30 years riding experience.  I am a trained Centered Riding Instructor and a TTEAM Certified Practitioner.  Because I believe in the value of continuing education, I myself work regularly with other trainers and clinicians to improve my skills as a rider and as an instructor.  One of the wonderful things about horses is that they will continue to teach us as long as we are willing to learn.
